History
Danny's Brewery officially started early 2008. The small village of Erpe-Mere counts 2 breweries from then on.
The brewer, Danny Hoffelinck, has been brewing beer for ages. As a member of a wine- and beer gild, the passion for beer brewing grew and the urge of doing it himself became bigger and bigger. The first experiments and brewage were there very soon. After positive reaction and encouraging words from his close entourage, Danny decided that more people should be able to enjoy his homemade beers.
After following several courses and obtaining the required certificates and distinctions, Danny's Brewery went public in 2008. The first step in commercializing his craftsmanship.
Danny's first real beer "KWIBUS" was born.
This playful name refers to a boyish name suggesting a kind of joviality towards people who might have done something wrong, but to whom you can't be mad. In the best sense of the word, a playful person, a rascal!
Brewery Danny became the second brewery of the small East-Flanders village Erpe-Mere.
After an overwhelming success start Danny's car had to give away the garage for the growing brewing activities. In the garage, where the beer is still brewed today, every square inch is used. It has a capacity to brew 500 liters.
"Although I started brewing only a few years ago, the capacity of my garage will be insufficient to keep following the demand. In the future, the brewing activities will be moved to a new location, recently purchased. At this moment, we are preparing and equipping this location."
Brewery Danny offers 3 beers at this time: Kwibus blond, kwibus Dark and kwibus tripel.
